Where Moore Brothers began — and where we continue to sharpen our craft.

Moore Brothers' marine industry roots come out of a passion for boatbuilding and the marine trades, which remain central to who we are today. It is a uniquely demanding environment, one that calls for creativity, skilled craftsmanship, and the ability to deliver custom products on unforgiving timelines.

Current work includes Red Herring II; a 70-foot custom canting-keel offshore racing yacht designed by world-renowned naval architect Paul Bieker, currently under construction at our facility in Bristol.

Over the years we have built hundreds of custom components for clients ranging from Bristol Harbor to Japan — masts, spars, blades, rudders, foils, wheels, and sprits — for some of the most competitive programs in the sport.

Our ongoing relationships with inshore and offshore syndicates keep us at the forefront of the discipline. The pace, precision, and rapid iteration cycles that define grand prix racing demand the best from our team, and we value these programs as much for what they teach us as for what we build.

Bristol, RI has a rich heritage of composite innovation, from Herreshoff's foundations in mechanical engineering and yacht design, to Pearson, TPI, and Hall Spars pushing the limits of what was possible with advanced materials. It is a legacy Moore Brothers holds in high regard, and one that continues to inform how we approach the complex structural problems of our day.
