In just six years, MBC has grown from a small operation working out of a garage to a full-fledged production line on Franklin Street. Recently, Moore Brothers Company started work on the large-scale REGENT project, which will deliver multiple sea-going, all-electric, passenger-carrying, wing-in-ground-effect vehicles to service coastal routes around the world. To get here, though, Moore Brothers Company needed to join forces with another skillful and experienced company. That company is Ocean State Composites.

Not everyone can immediately see the similarities between the aerospace industry and the world of sailboat racing, but there are more than one might think.
“The marine industry and the America’s Cup do some interesting things and they are able to execute composites at a very rapid pace.” Says Oliver Moore, co-owner and co-founder of Moore Brothers Company. Which, according to the Moore Brother’s experience, is something that the aerospace industry is also interested in doing.
