Moore Brothers Company and Ocean State Composites join forces to get the job done

In just six years, MBC has grown from a small operation working out of a garage to a full-fledged production line on Franklin Street. Recently, Moore Brothers Company started work on the large-scale REGENT project, which will deliver multiple sea-going, all-electric, passenger-carrying, wing-in-ground-effect vehicles to service coastal routes around the world. To get here, though, Moore Brothers Company needed to join forces with another skillful and experienced company. That company is Ocean State Composites.

Zack Parent is the owner and operator of Ocean State Composites. “We’re excited to be part of these projects with Moore Brothers Company.” Said Zack. “We all work well together as a team.” Zac was one the lead boat builders for American Magic, Artemis Racing and Bella Mente. Not only has he worked extensively in the boating world, Zack has also worked with Kestral Aircraft, which lends itself well to the two companies’ current work.

For projects like REGENT, Zac and his team have been a crucial part of delivering high-quality components on time and at the required scale.“ We wanted to partner with Zack Parent because in the last 10 years if a high-end racing yacht was built in the states Zac was a key member of the build team and has a similar mindset to us,” says Sam Moore, co-owner of Moore Brothers Company. “His commitment to detail is admirable,” says Oliver Moore, the other owner of MBC.

“At Ocean State Composites, we've been building our crew for the last couple of years. We have a very experienced crew mainly rooted in the race boat world, but we have certainly reached many other industries along our career paths.” Says Zack. “Having some of the best guys in the game is what makes my company tick.”

Originally from Maine, Zack brings his no-nonsense attitude to his work. “He does whatever it takes to get the job done,” says Sam. “It’s tough to match that level of experience, especially in someone that is our age.”

Most important of all, there is a mutual respect and accountability that is so necessary in a close-knit team.

“The opportunity to join Moore Bros on this new and exciting endeavor is a true privilege and we don't take it lightly.” Says Zack. “The crew at MBC brings years of experience designing and executing at a high level. The meshing of the crews has been seamless, and we look forward to a positive future for the collaborative.”

In short, Moore Brothers Company could not be working on such impressive projects if it were not for Zack and Ocean State Composites. “We are looking forward to the future of what we can do together!” Says Sam.
