Draftperson
Department: Design Office

Position Summary
The Moore Brothers Company is seeking draftperson to assist our design and engineering department. This position would report to the Lead Engineer and work closely with our seasoned designers and engineers. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking for experience in the marine industry and high end composites. There are huge growth opportunities in this team and we are eager to train the right person in composite design and mast engineering.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
Prepare drawings and models to designers specifications
Update and modify drawings and models as instructed
Format and finalize laminate schedules
Work with Designers to keep BOMs up to date
Provide support and drawings for the shop floor
Specific, Routine, Ongoing Tasks
Work with the lead engineer to model mast parts
Format laminate schedules
Prepare drawings for the shop floor and machine shops
Answer questions and provide clarification to the shop floor as necessary
Meet deadlines for part drawings as set by the design team
Support our sales team and project managers

CNC Programmer/Operator
Department: CNC Department

Reports to: Operations Manager
Position Summary
The Moore Brothers Company is seeking a CNC Programmer/Operator to grow our CNC department. This position would be responsible for the programming and operation of our 3 axis CNC machines and plycutter. This position will work closely with the design department to ensure tooling and parts are cut efficiently and accurately.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
Surface modeling tools and parts utilizing CAD/CAM software
Programing and operating CNC machines
Maintaining CNC machines and ancillary equipment
Assembly of components
Quality documentation and tracking
Trouble shooting and continuous process improvement
Provide support and drawings for the shop floor
Specific, Routine, Ongoing Tasks
Work with the CNC team and design office to machine tooling and parts. Choose correct machining operations and program tool paths from 3d models. QC check finished tooling and parts. Keep up on machine maintenance and shop cleaning.

Experienced Composite Technician/Laminator
Department: Shop Floor
Location: Bristol, RI (on site)
Reports to: Production Manager
Position Summary
The Moore Brothers Company is seeking an experienced composite laminator with 5+ years experience to help round out our floor team and support our aerospace composite work. This position would immediately start work on the REGENT full scale Seaglider protype. The right person would bring a strong knowledge of autoclave, OOA lamination, and vacuum infusion on large and small parts. We are looking for a skilled, dependable craftsperson who takes pride in their work. Top pay available for the right candidate.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
High end prepreg lamination
Vacuum bagging for autoclave and OOA cures
Vacuum infusion
Reading and building parts to shop drawings
Quality documentation and tracking
Trouble shooting and continuous process improvement

Laminating hull, wing, parts and structure for the REGENT Seaglider prototype.
Following verbal instruction and shop drawings from the production manager.
Trimming, assembly and fit out of parts and structure.
Identifying and working with the design office to correct and issues.
Keeping a clean and tidy workspace
Working cooperatively with coworkers, designers and management.
