Partnership with REGENT Craft
In 2021 Moore Brothers entered into contracts with REGENT Craft, Inc. to produce prototype foiling seaglider components. REGENT is developing a line of all-electric vessels that operate exclusively over water, traversing the sea in one of three modes: hull, hydrofoil, or flight in ground effect. As a Build Partner, Moore Brothers provides process engineering, composite fabrication and logistical support to REGENT.
Within a year of signing, Moore Brothers produced a quarter-scale vessel which underwent the project's first successful sea trials in early 2022. Moore Brothers and Ocean State Composites have teamed up to produce REGENT’s first full-scale prototype vessel, which will boast a 65ft wingspan and 55ft hull with capacity to transport up to 12 passengers up to 180 nautical miles on renewable energy.
